Change is an important part of both personal and professional life. People suggest that change is integral to success and that the world in which we now live is focussed on ongoing change.
When we look around us we see people responding and coping with changes to varying levels of both comfort and success. This psychological response people have to change really interests us… We believe that the difference between successful and unsuccessful change projects often rests on the amount of attention paid by businesses to the psychological effects of change.
During the course of this short taster session, we will examine how people react to change. We will consider the importance of getting people on board, and explore how to encourage people to feel positive about being part of changing organisations.
