Working With Us

Each client and every project is unique. Each requires a solution which should be innovative and focussed upon results.

We work in partnership with every client to develop solutions which truly match their requirements and achieve the desired results.

Our programmes are characterised by a structured process involving a thorough identification of your needs and goals, creatively designed and delivered learning activities and a comprehensive evaluation process.

There are a number of stages to this process and a number of actions to take.

Stages and Actions

Identifying your Needs

Every project starts with an investigation. To determine your needs and see how we might help, we ask you to work through your responses to a number of questions which we know will clarify your situation and identify your requirements.

You may already have started this process, and may also want to get others in your organisation to offer their input. We're happy to help you here, but know that the answers are for you to determine.

Here are the questions which we think are important.

Once we've agreed your answers to the questions, we move on to the next stage.

Matching Goals to Content

Once we've worked with you to confirm the outcomes you want to achieve and how you want to measure the success of the programme, we start to look at content.

To prompt thought and discussion, and to give you an idea of the areas we can and do cover we've highlighted some goals you might have, and the content which these goals suggest to us here.

Elements of your Programme

We'll also need to look at how best to deliver the learning to achieve your goals, using a range of activities which best fit your audience, budget, style and taste.

We believe that people learn most effectively, and apply their learning most consistently, by engaging in a cycle of learning activities.

From actual experience, through reflection and analysis, to the planning of new approaches, experiential learning creates a more significant learning experience and a greater commitment to new behaviour.

Therefore our programme always comprise of a series of integrated activities which are chosen to help people focus on developing and applying new behaviours.

Delivering your Project

Whenever we deliver programmes, we strive to make each and every session engaging, challenging, thought provoking, enjoyable and practical.

We aim to offer ideas, but also to encourage action. If you’d like to see what this has led to with other clients, look here.

We are happy to deliver your programme in our training rooms, or at another venue. If you’d like to see what it would be like to learn at Motion, look here.

Evaluating the Success of the Project

Delivering results and achieving success is critical for us. We are committed to working with you to evaluate the impact and success of every programme, both immediately, and over the long term.

We are determined to evaluate thoroughly to ensure return on investment has been established and desired results seen.

Motion Learning will always evaluate against the outcomes agreed during the development of the programme. Typically, evaluation takes place in two parts:

  • We conduct an initial evaluation through the use of participant feedback sheets
  • We conduct an evaluation of behavioural change and business impact approximately 4 months after the completion of any programme. This will be done using observation, management feedback, performance review documents and other tools.

We develop and send reports to you at each stage with data analysis and subsequent recommendations.

We do not charge at any point for evaluating the success of our work. We consider it part of our absolute commitment to offer you measurable results.
