Launching into 2025: Empowering Coaches & Communities with the next Coach Community programme
We’re delighted to announce the launch of the next iteration of the Coach Community programme, which has just kicked off!
Coach Community, a not-for-profit initiative proudly sponsored by Motion Learning, is driven by a powerful belief:
Everyone deserves access to quality coaching, and newly qualified coaches deserve the space and support to truly flourish.
Our programme embodies that belief, and we’re buzzing with excitement to welcome a fresh cohort of passionate coaches and deepen our partnerships with incredible charitable organisations.
For those unfamiliar with Coach Community, we bridge a vital gap. We connect newly qualified coaches with individuals who wouldn't typically be able to afford coaching, creating a mutually beneficial ecosystem of growth and support. We achieve this by collaborating with partner charities, providing them with access to skilled coaching resources for their leaders and managers, whilst simultaneously giving our coaches invaluable practical experience and professional development.
Why are we so excited about this next programme?
It’s simple. Since 2021, we’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of this model. We’ve witnessed newly qualified coaches confidently finding their voice, honing their skills, and building successful coaching practices. And, crucially, we’ve seen the positive impact coaching has on the lives of those receiving it – boosting confidence, unlocking potential, and fostering lasting change.

What does the programme offer our new coaches?
As with so many careers, your professional qualification is just the start. It’s a bit like learning to drive; you’ve passed your test, but now is when the real practice starts, as each coach build their experience, and their hours of work.
But it isn’t just about accruing accreditation hours (though that’s certainly a valuable benefit!). We’ve designed a comprehensive 10-month programme that offers holistic support, nurturing the whole coach, not just developing the technical skills. Here’s a snapshot of what our six new coaches joining us in June 2025 can expect:
- A Solid Foundation: A robust onboarding process, including a series of workshops in the first two months, covers key coaching stages – from those initial chemistry sessions to effective contracting, note-taking, and the collaborative power of triad meetings, to set each coach on the road to success.
- Real-World Experience: The heart of the programme lies in the opportunity to work with a portfolio of at least four coachees over a 6-9 month period. This isn’t theoretical practice – it’s applying learned skills in a real-world context.
- Dedicated Supervision: Six team supervision sessions with a professional Coach Supervisor provide a safe space for reflection, challenge, and growth. We understand the importance of having expert guidance as you navigate the complexities of coaching.
- Professional Support: A buddy system connects each new coach with a more experienced colleague, fostering a supportive network for sharing experiences, offering encouragement, and celebrating successes.
- Personalised Feedback: Throughout the programme, coaches receive regular one-to-one feedback on their progress, helping them identify areas for improvement and build on their strengths.
- Industry Exposure: Being connected to the Motion Coaching Team provides invaluable insight into the life of a professional coach, offering mentorship and networking opportunities.
- Marketing Support: We believe in amplifying our coaches’ voices and Coach Community provides marketing activity, helping to raise their profile and showcase their skills.
Essentially, we’re providing a springboard for these recently qualified coaches to confidently launch and develop their careers, armed with practical experience, professional development, and a strong network of support.
